I am a gender equity and physical activity changemaker with significant local government and public sector experience transforming thinking, business and impact. With a fervour for nurturing organisational cultures that embody inclusion and opportunity I believe that organisations taking a proactive stance in these areas have the chance to pioneer a new standard for the public sector, one that leaves a lasting, positive imprint on the community.
With a rich background in senior public sector and leadership roles, I excel at designing and leading impactful initiatives within the local and State government sector. I've challenged the status quo, developed strategies and spearheaded cultural shifts, particularly in gender equity and physical activity (sport and rec), using an evidence base and strong facilitation skills to foster effective partnerships, team collaboration, organsiational and policy change.
As a co-founder of the Put Her Name on It Campaign and Advertising (in)equality project (shEqual) Australian firsts, I have demonstrated experience in applying a lens and gender analysis to existing situations and developed and led transformative actions for meaningful change at a local, state and national level.
Through my flexible approach, driven by attitude and aptitude to deeply understand systems and how to change them, I've built my success.
